No image showing on my screen. Try again? If you have a Flickr account, it is easy to transfer the image from that site right into the post, making it easier for others to see it quickly. If you aren't sure how to do that, there is a post at the start of the forum sections explaining the process. Look forward to seeing your work!

Now that I can finally see it, I like it. I don't know if it would have been possible to change the colors of the background or not, but on the one hand, I can see this as a general geometric composition including the colors and the interesting web design as well as the spider, but I do think that the bright background colors distract attention from the spider itself, at least a little bit.

Also, I notice that if this spider is still alive, she is missing a leg and yet is managing quite well without a cane. I say "she" rather than "s/he" because as we all know, in spiderdom, the female kills and sucks the life out of the male after mating; literally, not just metaphorically

Fixed that for you John

I agree with Chicagojohn, the spider itself is pleasing the look at from the image shown, but i cant stop staring at the background colours, they keep distracting me.

Missing leg is interesting though, makes me wonder how he/she lost it? hmmm

Default Not so good

Well,

I think you can dramatically improve it by increasing its hue!

Try it and show us again ...
