Please help me improve my photography skills by making constructive remarks on my photos. This is my first pic on this forum. Now I'm waitng your opinions.

The depth of field is too narrow for my taste. Especially disconcerting is the way portions of the near wing are in focus with part of the head, while other parts of the wing are blurred. The sharpest of all, though, appears to be whatever the dragonfly is perched on. I'd rather have focus on the eyes, with a slightly wider DOF so the front half of the subject (at least) is in focus.
