Talking Iced Over

We had some snow here in the south. Which in turn became ice. I personally LOVE this shot but I'm sure there's room for improvement. Please let me know what you think... color, composition, DOF. Anything you could think of to help me to continue to learn! Thanks!

I like it. What would a tighter crop on just the ice covered berries with a little back light look like? Btw, what are those berries?

I have no clue what those berries are. They are just on one of the bushes in front of my house. Also, I'll try the tighter crop to and see how it looks! Thanks.

Only thing I would say is it's a bit dark. Might try pulling up the exposure in post or try to add some additional lighting while shooting. You can get some cool reflections with ice that might add a little more to the shot. It's a cool shot to begin with.

It works for me, it gives me a sense of being chilled. What more could you ask for?
