Default Guitar

My 2nd attempt at a critique shot. I liked this shot, although i feel theres something not quite right about it.... It maybe should have been at more of an angle, the bottom of the neck coming from the bottom right of the shot perhaps?

Head

Camera Canon EOS 500D
Exposure 0.033 sec (1/30)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 24 mm
ISO Speed 400

OK i took another one, as I can only post one shot per post, here's the link, i think this second one is better..what do you guys think?

The lighting is off in my opinion. You've lit the wall more than you've lit the guitar itself. That draws my eye more to the wall than to the guitar. If you want to light it from the side, try a darker background, or light it from the front to draw the attention to the guitar. Just keep experimenting

I think the white balance isn't right. I believe there's a green colour cast...

The texture on the left side of the wall seems to be more in focus than most of the guitar. Also the shadow doesn't seem to add anything positive to the photo. I'd move the guitar away from the wall.

I like the shot, I would have preferred the guitar a little more to the right, the focus is at the top of the guitar and that is just fine to me. It seems to me if the guitar was little more to the right of the frame it would have drawn my eye better.
