Default Scissors macro

I took this photo improvising the white background with some paper of my print. I liked the result, this is one of my first tries doing a macro shot.I kinda of liked this color that the flash gave. Do you think the composition needs to be improved? I don't know how to compose these macro shots. What you guys think?

Welcome to dPs. This is pretty good for an early attempt, IMHO. I like the composition and the colour. My only suggestion would be to move the light source so that you don't have the washed area in the upper right corner. It might be possible to fix this with PP.

TFS and keep posting.

cheers!
Ian
