Camera Canon EOS 500D Lens 18-55mm kit Shutter Speed 5sec Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 55 mm ISO Speed 100 Flash Off, Did not fire Story: I was waiting for the sun to set a little bit to get a good shots of the clouds when this guy suddenly landed in front of me. But then it was already kinda dark and luckily I have my tripod with me so I got this amazing opportunity to take a picture of him with long shutter speed and with the wind cooperating before he finally flew away. ![]() my most decent looking macro shot.. please share your thoughts and what can I do to improve anything in this shot (like composition etc) so I can do better next time

Brian, an amazing photograph -- an impossible, if not very lucky, shot at 5 sec. exposure!
I would not suggest you do anything to this image. If you crop the leaf, I believe you'd ruin the composition. The red edge on the leaf leads the eye in a pleasant manner. Good work, do more and more -- practice. |
