Default Shells

This Picture I took at Venice Beach, FL. It has not been modified, and actually even the shell was in its original spot, I think i just caught it at the right moment, I really like this picture, hope you guys do also.

Any comments or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Very nice, I like the different textures in the shot and the colours are lovely. The shell that looks to be the main subject is not all that sharp though. Other then that, very well done

agreed with the poster above, it doesn't really stand out; one, the colours are very similiar, which is fine, but the focus is not on that big shell, it seems there really isn't one. in this case, i would suggest a very very slight vignette (i personally do not like the use of vignette, so when I say very slight, i mean to the point where you can't really tell you're using one... make it very gradual); also perhaps a crop.

I like this shot. I'm a big fan of the ground shots taken from strait above. I think it might look really cool if you rotated it clockwise so the shell was diagonal and then cropped it down to get the shell out of the middle of the frame. That might be a little more intriguing. Nice work though. Keep learning!
