im trying to improve my flower photography

do you think the background is too blurred?
do you guys have any suggestions?

lovely colors! It looks a bit dark on my monitor (though everything on flickr looks darker to me...); maybe try lightening it? I love the blurred background--definitely not too blurred. I might crop in tighter to focus more on the flower and bee...maybe take a bit off the left so that the vertical line is in a 'rule of thirds' position...

I agree with Rengles with a tighter crop,
I like the DOF , perhaps even more blurring.
Good sharp shot with good colour,
the shadow across the flower is a little distracting.
