Hi,
I like your photo very much. I think, in that case, the point of focus is the center of the flower. Visually, this is the way I like it the best. Only my opinion...

I feel that this shot would have worked better if the yellow bit (anthers?/stamen?) was in focus.
as a side, i love the colours.

ooh gorgeous colors! I think this depends on the shot and your opinion. It seems typically that focus is on the center of the flower (or all of it in focus??), but I like variations that focus just on the back or front petals. I like here that the front petals are soft but not so blurry as to be distracting.
The beauty of digital photography is that you can take 20 shots with 20 different points of focus and choose your favorite, right?
