Default Water Dragon

Hi...this is my first post on this great site. This is a photo of my Water Dragon taken in natural light while he was sunning on his "tree". The original was shot in RAW, f5.6; 1/125; ISO 200; focal length 135mm at a distance of .6m with a Canon EOS 40D. Then I did a crop to eliminate unnecessary background. The original was very dark so I did adjustments in CS5 with the RAW adjustment panel and levels to lighten it and bring back out the natural colors and did some extra sharpening. I guess this not really a macro shot but given the size of the littlle guy it turned out to be pretty close to being one.

I welcome any feedback on my attempt.

Craig

Default Beautiful!

Your focus is sharp, the Depth-of-Field is appropriate for the image's content, and the final composition is very pleasing.

I would have perhaps been more subtle with the tonal adjustments and saturation - I find them just slightly outside of a 'natural' look.

Still - a great image!
