Default Raindrops on leaves

Taken just after a heavy afternoon shower, it is a new leaf and quite oily, you know how they are when they have just unfurled:

From DPS

EXIF:
Shutter: 1/100 sec
Aperture: f/6
ISO: 400
Exposure bias: 0EV
Focal length: 155 mm

This is a slight crop of the original, which had a little distractions like other leaves and the brown of the pot mainly to the right and below. Not much PP beyond the crop, a slight contrast and saturation boost (+10 and +5 respectively) and some USM (100%, 2.0R, 2 levels).

1) What do you think of the framing?

2) Should I have gotten lower down so that the leaf was more horizontal?

3) Does that white reflection in the upper middle of the leaf distract from the rain drops themselves?

C & C much appreciated.

I like the framing, needs the dark area where the leaf curves to
give defination.
Leaf is sharp and has good colour, the reflection in the water
in the centre is a little distracting.
Bit to much water for my liking.

Cheers

Hey thanks for the feedback, Annwen. Which dark area do you mean? The one on left or the one on the bottom right? I too thought the white reflection in the water in the middle was distracting, but I only noticed it once I downloaded it. :-(
