Mushroom for lunch

Hi all

Drove past this the other day and just had to stop and take a few snaps. Have i croped it to close as the tree bark did have interesting texture. i took a few different angle but liked this the best as the millipede was a bonus. Any feed back on how to make it better would be greatly appreciated.

Use the rule of thirds to your advantage here. Place all the main focal points of your image ont he tic tac toe grid and see if they fall on the main lines.
What i see is the edge of the mushroom is too close to the edge of the frame
