Hi, I am new to this site as well as photography. This is one of my first shots with a DSLR. Please let me know your opinions on composition and lighting, thank you.

I'm sorry, I don't have that info. I took this with a borrowed camera and the person emailed me the pictures...I looked at the properties and it is not there.

Thumbs up Exif

You might have your friend take a UNALTERED copy of the photo to EXIF VIEWER and get the info you need. They have different downloads for different cameras & computers. I tried and it wouldn't take for me, but it might work for him. Just an Idea. Also, the ifo my still be either in the camera, or in his program, such as 'Aperture' ? -- I like the photo myself. A couple things I do, I try and shoot most flowers straight on, which means getting down to their level. I also carry a small spray bottle of water with me, which I may, or may not use.

Thanks, that's a good idea about carrying the spray bottle. I would ask my friend for the exif but she was reluctant to send the pictures in the first place so I think I'll forget about it this time, lol. Some people on flickr said that the photo was too dark and I should do post processing which I did try, but I liked it how it is best.
