Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 100

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the criticisms you give me

nice picture. maybe slightly higher exposure and a shift in perspective to get the brown outta the background and get a uniform green bokeh. or perhaps in macro mode it might have come out even better.

Hey Pinoyz, Welcome to DPS!!!
Hmm...Its a good shot. The composition is nice as far as the background is concerned, although the brown is a bit distracting. I think the exposure is good enough. For a 55mm, F5.6 its a pretty nice shot.

If you used a lens like 50mm at 1.8 or lower (lower F number) then you would have gotten a better bokeh.

Anyways, you've done a good job, keep it up

The fencepost doesn't bother me as much as the highlights on the leaf directly behind the flower. If you had gotten a little lower, it would probably have been behind the bloom and out of the shot.

A lot of the time, I don't notice stuff like that in my shots until post-production. Then it's either go back and shoot it again, or edit the shot. In this case, I would try to dodge the highlights out so they aren't as distracting.

Overall, though, a good pic. I like the composition, and personally, I think the post breaks up the background rather well.
