This here is a photo of a leaf I took. Do u think I should crop that leaf at the top out? I can't really decides if it adds or takes away to the photo. Any other general suggestions? Thanks.

This is an interesting shot.

In my opinion, if you crop out the leaf at the top and the leaf to the left, in a way to move the main leaf into the top left corner, it adds to the picture quite a bit.

Take into account "The Rule Of Thirds" and move the subject off center and I think you will be pleased with the outcome.

I agree with DivotMaker. I was going to suggest the same thing with the rule of thirds. I like to place objects off towards the sides of the frames rather than dead center. It adds to the image. Of course this all is in my honest opinon.

Something like this? Placed photo in upper right hand corner. The photo didn't seem to look good when I tried to crop the other leaf out.
