Default Damsel fly

This is a photograph which I took while waiting for a hoverfly to settle. What do you think?

Zoot,

Nice photo. You did a marvelous job capturing the details and hairs on the body and the wings. My only possible thought would be to alter your composition so it wasn't so horizontal in the future. Personally, I would just be super excited to get this guy in focus. Also, if possible a change in perspective might be cool. Get down below or on the same plane. Again, great detail and excellent capture!

Thanks Wyndhydra, but you said it yourself - you would be super excited just to get it in focus. At about one and a half inches long and stopping nowhere for more than a couple of seconds, I feel honoured to have captured it at all!
