Default water is the secret - plz c&c

hello
this shot i took it last night in my living room and its my first try with 1:1 macro






Camera: Canon EOS 1000D
Exposure: 1.6
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Morning Cool,
Welcome to Macro, it is a great place to get up close and personal.

A couple of comments are:
1. nice DOF, I like that

2. the focus point may be a bit too centered, move the drop so that it is not dead center might create a little more interest.

3. when I shoot these type of objects, I try to remove the catchlights. While catchlights are great in the eyes of person personally I find them distracting in an inanimate object such as this. IMHO.
