Default Frozen Dead Frog

F5.6, 300MM, ISO 800, 1/400 shutter.

This is my beer that i left in my freezer. When it froze the cap came off perfectly and i had only a few minutes to snap this shot. Was i able to capture this image with the right composition?

That was helpful!

I actually like it. Being as you caught it just in time before the cap decided to fall, I would say you did very well. I only wish you could have gotten more label in the frame. I would not have known what it was if you had not have added to your title. Have you tried to convert to b/w? I believe it would do this picture even more justice. If it were me, I would crop some off of the bottom, and a little off of the left. It will give your "ice geyser" a little more impact and sense of movement.

I agree more of the label would have been better. I question why the need for the high ISO and fast shutter speed for a non-moving object. I would think you could have dropped the ISO down to 200 and avoided the noise.

I like it me too
Just to add some suggestions, maybe if the shot were taken from the bottom, it would gave us the feeling of a projectile
Just my thought...
Have a nice day!
