Well you did not give the exif data, but I would say shoot at a higher f/stop number to get more depth of field.
OK I went to flickr and grabbed you data, which is: Camera: Nikon D3000 Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: -2/3 EV So, shout at a slower speed, higher ISO and close down the aperture to like f/11 and see what you get.

Thank you for the suggestion. Your timing is perfect, I was just going out to try again. Do I have to list the exif data when I post the picture from Flikr? I will edit the post with the info to be sure.

Other than the focus addressed earlier, I think this is a cool shot. And yes, EXIF data should be posted in the critique section. It makes it easier for people to suggest what you might adjust when asking for advice.
