Default Water explosion!

I was messing around in the kitchen and decided to blast the faucet into a beer bottle. I thought it was pretty cool. The lighting in the room was pretty low, so I had to use the dreaded pop up flash. I would like to know if the lighting in the shot is ok, composition, and general critique. Thanks for viewing.

I enjoy the sort of abstract look here. There seems to be a bit less contrast in the center of the water, which bothers me a bit. Fun shot!

Thanks for the comments. I'm not sure what caused the lack of contrast in the center. Maybe the flash or the focus was off a bit? I'm learning alot by trial and error.

Good Pic,
water can be tricky to get the desired effect. An ISO of 200 or 100 would have created a cleaner shot, however you would have to adjust your Fstop in order to get the speed.

overall great job.
PS. as for the contrast, depending on your lens if you could adjust your fstop down.. e.g 4.0 it would allow everything to come into focus..

cheers.

Thanks. I will try making those adjustments when experimenting next time.
