Rose from Hever Castle Gardens

Hello

I have a picture of a rose and I'm afraid this post is a bit of a "is this any good"? I'm a beginner with photography and to my eye this looks good. However on closer inspection I note that some of the leaves are out of focus (namely top right corner). What about the composition? Too much leaf?

What I do like though are the few drops of water on the rose petals. I'd be grateful for any feedback.

I took this picture using a canon 400D, f/13, 1/400 sec, ISO 400

Hi,
I really like your photo! About the leafs, the only one distracting me is the one covering the rose (lower left). You could have made all the leaves more blur by opening your aperture (small f number) and isolate the flower (smaller depht of field). The bad side of that: your rose would not be that great in focus all the way through. So, I think you made a great job with it!
The composition seems great to me. You take the photo from the top of the flower, which is good!
The lightning is perfect to me too!
So overall, a really great photo...
