Default Black Jumper Spider

This little guy was posing for me while I shot picture after picture! I was wondering how my DOF in this photo is, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This photo was shot using a Nikon D40x with a Nikon 200mm f/4D ED-IF AF Micro Telephoto Nikkor Lens

Shutter Speed 1/60
Aperture F5.6
Focal Length 200mm

I would try it with a higher aperature, maybe f11 or even f16 to get more of the spider in focus. You can always bump the ISO a bit to get more light if required.

The one thing that I'm not a fan of is water marking, although I understand and respect why some people use them. Placing it on top of the main subject though is very distracting imo.

I prefer greater DOF in a macro. Sometimes the only way to get it is "focus stacking". Overall though, I think it is a nice shot for a macro.

You got the eyes in focus which is great. But like above, opening up the aperture would help.

Yikes!... just look at its eyes! :-)

I think you should have shot with a higher DoF (so that the spider would not be too blur, and the other parts will not be too sharp).

And about the watermark, you could put it at the bottom-centre of the image. That would be better and less distracting.
