I find the background to be too distracting, especially that bright yellow/white spot. I do like the overall colors though.

Suggestion to improve the photo:

Shoot this cute flower from a higher angle to accent its cute shape and color.
Since this is for macro then use a longer focal length or a macro lens or a p/s in macro mode.
A tripod will be very helpful.

Question Delicate beautiful sign of spring!

Hello everyone,

I am a new member here in the forum and this is my first time to post a picture. I dont know a whole lot as in terms of taking a very good photo, as I am fairly new to the art of photography, I wanted to learn more and I badly need and very much open to suggestions to this cute flower subject. thanks a bunch.
