Hi,
First, I love the golden look, how did you achieved it? It gives a rich silky look!
But, in my opinion, the angle isn't appropriate. If your camera were more horizontal, we would be able to see the droplet sitting on a stick.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day!

Default Critique by a newbe

I like it even if it does not focus on the droplett sitting on the spike. I like the golden tone too. I like that the droplet is above the center-line of the picture (horizontal line). The background the droplet is on is not the same color and that makes the droplet stand out more.

My eye first went to the water rings at the bottom, then right up to the droplet. Then I looked at the side rings and the rest of the water at the top of the picture. It is all golden and silky.

Hi Franky,
Thanks for the suggestions. May be i will look at them in the next shoot. I am still learning the macro hence i am looking for these valuable suggestions.
The bowl which i used was yellow in colour hence the bowl colour and the flash effect has given this golden colour. I have not done any procesing except cropping for the photo

Hi,

thanks for the compliments.

Yes I thought about the angle but I would have lost the effect of water ripples hence I shot from this angle.
