Hey guys i took this picture a couple years ago, it's a plumeria I took it over in Hawaii. I'm not big on taking pictures of flowers, here's why, I think they're already beautiful flowers can we really make them look better??

So please let me know your thoughts

Default Colorful

It's a pretty picture and I don't see anything technically wrong with it. I think the flower shape itself is a little dull (simple, rounded petals), but the colors are great. Your shot mainly has white, pink, yellow, green, and blue. I'd love to see you play around a bit with the balance of the colors (more sky for a bluer picture, more leaves for a greener, more petals for a whiter, etc).

The shot is great as is and I really don't know if you'd have gotten something better from a different angle. Nice work.

They can certainly be made better.....not this particular shot though...take a closer look......The petals are completely blown out in places. solid white. when you look at the flower in real life, you can see details and veins all the way out. This shot was slightly overexposed. These types of high contrast shots could use some pp help by using stacking or hdr....It is not a bad picture but any sooc shot could probably use tweaking to get the most out of it

Thanks guys, I'm not a flower photography fan, i do think they are already pretty, so as photographers we don't need to make them prettier, so it's kinda an easy job, but the composition and all that can definitively be worked on it. I'll look into the colors cause i know i blew up a bit on the exposure, i'll be sure to post it again here, and have you guys compare, thanks again for the help.
