This is an older shot from last year. Taken when I was just getting into photography and had a shoddier camera than the one I have now. The idea is probably is way overdone, I know.

I was going through my photos and decided it would be a goo Idea to get a critique on one of my first macros.

Is there a name for that type of crop? I've not seen examples with the swirled lines like that before.

It is called Golden Spiral.

Its a great photo and in actual fact my 7 year old daughter loves it!! It even given her inspiration to find a pen and draw different facial expressions on all her finger tips!
