Default Water drops on a red flower...

Hello,

This is one of my earlier shots. I tried to make the water droplets stand out. But I am not satisfied by the result. Is there anything in post processing that I can do to make the water droplets stand out ?

I don't know for sure, but I think you just need to be closer, so...croping?

I tried a little crop , and exposure , contrast adjustment. Here is the result. Do you think it is better ?

Yes, I'd say too much, at least for my taste, as it does not look natural to me. The only thing you might try is upping the clarity and perhaps pushing the highlights curve a little, which may bring out any pop in the droplets that exists. But the problem is that there is not too much light being caught on the droplets to begin, so it's tough to make it magically appear in post.

Overall, nice angle of composition, but perhaps waiting for different light would help for the next one.
