Default Flower Photograph

This is my first flower photograph and even this is one of the first few shots taken after my interest in photography which orignated almost just a week back..

I don't get why you have a sharp background and a blurry foreground... :s

its because of camera inefficencies, its not an slr or dslr just a digi cam which has auto focus it could focus only this much.. even tried to sharpen the image but neither it did wonders..

Hi, himanshuisbond Welcome to DPS

I've moved your flower to Macro because it's more that, than landscape or cityscape. If unsure where to put a photo for Critique, Private Message a Moderator for help. Also. posts in Critique need to have some camera information (type of camera, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc) and a specific question about what you want Critique, like composition or lighting, whatever you'd like advice on.

If you think about it, the area that is in focus is just inches behind the bloom. If you had moved the camera back those few inches, the bloom most likely would be in focus. You were just a little too close.
