Default Moss Under the Trees

On this picture I have many questions. Should I crop off a little bit of the right side where it is dark or leave it for the contrast. What do you think of the overall contrast with the dark and bright areas. Should I crop off the bright part on the left side, I really like it because it shows great depth, what do you think. Any other comments would be very much appreciated, Thanks.

Hmmm...crop off just enough on the right so that the vertical in-focus stick is in a rule of thirds position? I like the top left corner but maybe darken it just a bit (and possibly even lighten up the foreground just a bit) so that it doesn't distract from the moss in the foreground?

I like the color contrast and the shape of the shadow

Default What do I know?

Here's feed back from someone who has been taking pictures for one week.
I would have pulled out the little sticks, and tried to light the two side dark areas with some soft fill flash or a reflector. Now, let's see what some real experienced photographers will say...

Default Simply Crop

I would cut down on the right side to play off the "Rule" of Thirds, and then cut off a little bit of the bottom to a) balance, and b) send the eye in the right direction. Otherwise it's an awesome shot! No more PP is necessary, in my opinion.

Hmm....i like the idea behind this photo. You should crop off the top left corner as well as a bit from the right to give more prominence to your point of focus. The useless area in the sides is too distracting.
