Default Macro flower blown out?

So I did a little post processing to fix the colors...is it over exposed? Could I have done more with the composition? I'm working with a canon sx120. Thanks for looking!

I don't believe it is over exposed for my taste! A little "busy" in the composition but the colors are great! Like that you got the main focus on the stamen.

Thanks for the feedback and the compliments! Hmmm...yes, I can see how it's a little busy now, something I'll look out for in the future

It looks to me like the WB wasn't matched to the lighting source. Sometimes if you have it too warm it is hard to notice, but yours is too cool, which usually ends up not working quite so well for flowers and such. Did you use a flash?

Thank you Matt, yea I agree with your point about the white balance, I did notice that before. I had the camera set to Tungsten.

This was taken indoors with low lighting so I believe I did use the flash so I could keep the iso on a lower setting. The original I think, is kind of boring and dark....do you like it better without the processing?
