Default Dill Pickle

P1000331-1

Don't laugh like my other half did when she saw me setting this up.
My 1st ever macro picture. It really is a practice piece. I know a dill pickle isn't that exciting, but I liked the colour. Is it lit correctly?

Aperture f/3.00
f/stop f/3.00
ISO 160
focal length 7.40mm
Natural light

the lighting.. is it natural light or? it seems to throw a wierd spot in the right half of it but does create good shadows!

Thanks for your comment
I used sunlight coming through a window but diffused it a little as it was so strong. Looking again, that is almost a reflection of that window on the pickle.

The highlight is a bit much IMO...maybe diffuse the light a bit more next time?
