Abstract of Nature

This photo of a color parrot took in a bird's park.

Shutter speed:1/250, F-8, 300mm manual focus, ISO 200 without flash.

Do you feel this composition is ok or need to change? What is your opinion about colors? Is it well focoused?
Any better suggestions?

I am not the most knowledgeable person on photography,but I must say I really like this. I love the contrast between the colours and the black spaces/lines on the feathers. In my opinion this is a very good and flattering composition!

I love it as an abstract. The colors are great and so are the different textures. The lines made by the soft-focus background feathers (?) pull the movement in the opposite direction of the in-focus feathers in the foreground. Nice work.

Technique/colors look good if perhaps slightly underexposed. But I keep wondering if it wouldn't have more dramatic punch if cropped as a vertical--right down the center. I dont know, just an idea...
