Default Sto-fen diffuser- direct flash snap shots

since I got this little plastic, it seldom left my 430 EX II, here is a snapshot using flash with the diffuser pointed directly to the food;

Try not to use the diffuser directly at the subject. See how you white balance is a little out of wack? Bounce the flash.

Sorry but I've had nothing but excellent results with Sto-Fens pointed directly at the subject. White balance was spot on. If anything, bouncing will CAUSE problems because the light takes on whatever colour the bouncing surface is.

I've always had better results from the sto-fen mounted and pointed directly at the subject. Sorry just speaking from experience
