Im new to the site and photography.I have a question driving me mental.Question: I was on cruise in NYC at night,my nightshots of the NY Skyline cam out blurry.How do i go about getting a proper picture with proper ligthing? Please help

The problem is like twofold.
In the dark, the camera has trouble focusing because it cant see the object it needs to focus on. Now, in NYC that might not be so hard, but it can be an issue. Most likely, though, is that you moved somewhat and the camera was using a slow shutter speed. When you have the shutter open for much longer than 1/45s you run the risk of getting blur, even on a wide-angle lens. Can you post an example with the EXIF data? (camera, lens, aperture, shutterspeed, iso).
