Hey, DPS'ers!
I haven't been around of late 'cause, well, I went and procreated some cuteness with my wife. ![]() She's become the most photographed baby on the block, of course, but I'm having a bit of trouble bringing her eyes out. At the moment, they're a very dark brown, so the colour really doesn't come out in photos. Heck, she usually needs to be in beaming sun for me to see nice colour definition with my own eyes, and the manual suggested against a lot of beaming sun. My question is: are there any tricks to lighting dark eyes such as hers? I've taken the odd photos of people where eyes seem to come out in dynamic hyper-real colour when lit from the side by the sun, and perhaps I'm looking for a trick to replicate that effect. Likewise, PP doesn't seem to be doing the trick without looking wholly artificial but, of course, if there are any tricks in that department, I'd love to hear those, too. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
