looks pretty good but you should use aluminium foil and remember to cover the center column with foil as well. You should be able to get the ring completely lit up that way.

Thanks for the link! This is awesome. I'll have to experiment with something like this for my little clunker. I should be able to rig up something to pipe the light from the on board flash.
