So, I shot at this wedding a couple of weeks ago, and here is a typical shot in terms of lighting: f4, 1/60, ISO 800, flash fired in compulsory mode, may have been dialed down a little and bounced off the ceiling (high ceiling - prob 16 ft or so).
Ceiling color was off-white, nearly beige, walls in the reception hall dark yellow-reddish stucco. ![]() I chose not to gel my flash because I figured with all that yellow/brown bouncing it would tone down a bit and get an acceptable result. Now I'm looking at this and wondering if I should have gelled it instead - or done something else. Note that I do like the moderate yellow cast, it reflects the atmosphere of the room, but my couple seems a bit too white to me after the fact... What do you think? Image not manipulated in photoshop, shown as taken, just reduced in size/resolution. It was shot in jpeg as I was running low on memory towards the end of the event.

If the bride's dress was pure white....then you could try to increase temperature(if you're using Lightroom) or maybe you could play with saturation to get the best results
Good Luck |

Thank you for the feedback!
