Default Lunch is served

See what happens when you go a few days without an assignment. Gotta keep the creative juices flowing someway. Lucky I'm not into Boudoir photography or my wife would be in trouble

Amy fixed Japanese osoba noodle soup. First she prepared chicken in a chicken broth and then added onions, celery, carrots and squash. Then poured the mixture over noodles. It looked so nice that I had to take a picture.

This is a simple set up. I used five 550 EX flashes, one on a stand to the right of camera with a snoot. Another one on a stand to the left, 45 degrees to camera with a snoot. Two in the back with defusers 45 degrees to both sides of bowl and a handheld unit with a snoot pointed straight down on bowl. Lunch is served!

Really nice shot. Also, it probably beats Ramen Noodle Soup.

yes it does. When I live in Japan from 67-72 and then again from 84-87, I learned to add a variety of veggies and meats to make the meal better. I look on Japanese noodle soups as an oriental version of Hamburger Helper

hmm..too bad about the boudoir photography, lol

This looks delicious. I would probably have to pick the chicken out because vegetables are bad for me..haha
I hate hamburger helper but lived on cheap Ramen noodles all through my 20's. They are good when you are broke..lol

Great picture!
