Default Classic Beauty Lighting pic

This is my first attempt using classic beauty light setup. Two flashes used.
Post process: Skin retouch and contrast. No color correction or sharpening.

LP121flash in softbox above camera on-axis (key) Triggered via Cybersyncs
SB-900 flash in softbox below camera on-axis (fill) Triggered via SU-4(optical slave)
WB:custom

Edit- I'm very happy with the skin retouch, doesn't look plastic and over done. See my flickr for larger version

I also agree that is it very nice lighting. The next step might be to add a 3rd light to give her some hair light or maybe light the background some to give her hair separation. But Very nice, I like it. I think I heard this referred to clam shell lighting too.

Yes this lighting method is called clam shell lighting. It is also possible to achieve this same look using a single light and a reflector.

Thanks all.

I wanted to keep the lighting simple since this was my first attempt with beauty lighting(clam shell). Didn't want to complicate things. Next attempt I will also add rim/kicker lights which should add good seperation from background and a little edge.
