Default Cactus V4 triggers

From the Gadget Infinity website:

Quote:
Good news! Cactus V4 trigger and receiver are ready to ship on March 16 (Monday). Orders will be accepted on March 13 (Friday), HKT.
Cactus V4 offers many improved features from the V2s version:

1) New antenna design that increases the reliability and effective distance to 30 meters.
2) New power source for receiver –AAA batteries.
3) 16 selectable channels and advanced anti-interference feature.
4) Compatible with low trigger voltage portable flashes, high trigger voltage portable flashes and studio strobes.
5) Trigger set includes three (3) connection cables while receiver only package includes one (1).

A complimentary copy of the photo album “When Light Dances” is included in the package. Not only wonderful pictures taken by photographers who use Cactus as their companion are shown, setup details are also presented for photographer’s reference.
Retail price (shipping cost not included) for trigger set is US$39.95 and receiver alone, US$23.95.
Another main feature of the V4s is the removal of the swivel and a switch to a much lower profile on the receivers--much sturdier and easier to use with stands/umbrellas. Sadly, they're not compatible with the V2s.

There's also nice detailed reviews of the V4s with pictures at:

Nope just what comes with the kit. Notice it has the hot shoe. Iv already done the math. If they ship it on the 16th i should get it in 15 days So march 30th 31st!!! 5$ standard shipping. 3 day shipping from china is as much as the trigger 39$. I have been wanting to get a cactus trigger for months but im glad I did not have any $ then because now the v4 is coming out. the v2s was ok but had major issues that need hacks to fix.

I don't want to seem dense; but, what will the pc cord plug into that would normally plug into the flash if I didn't have the adapter? The 430EX doesn't have a pc port.

No need for a pc chord.
The transmitter goes on the hot shoe of the camera and the 430 mounts onto the reciever via the hotshoe.

Exactly and it gives you adapters to also be able to trigger studio strobes also. So you can trigger via hotshoe or the port to trigger. It seems very very nice I was stunned when I found out the price was still so low. It is suppose to also handle high voltage and low voltage flashes. When the old one you have to have a v2 for high voltage(over 12v) and a v2s for standard low voltage(under 12v) flashes.

Adapters:
(3.5 mm mono jack to 3.5 mm mono jack)
( 3.5 mm mono jack to pc-sync male)
(3.5 mm mono jack to 6.3 mm bigger mono jack (for studio flashes))

Can you tell I have been researching into cactus triggers for about 6 months now? :P Finally I have the money.

OK, I'm going to order mine tomorrow. I'll get my stand and softbox before they get here.
