flash

Hi all, can anyone let me know if i can use my cobra 440 AFC flash on my eos 450D. I have used it and it does fire but seems to be to strong and blows everything out. If i cannot use it what can you recomend. Many thanks

not sure but you might want to look into what the voltage the flash puts out...if its more than the flash for the camera you could blow the flash circuitry which you don't want to do.
Do you have the specs for the flash?
It will have to be under 6v and most likely only work in manual mode.....but i am not a canon guy so don't take my word for it.....do a google search and see if you can find the voltage of the flash.
