Default Has this stand been made?

Just wondering if this type of lightstand has been ever designed or/and made for sale? I wonder because I don't see it anywhere and thought it would be a neat idea of a new product. Here's an image of what I as a photographer who uses studio strobs and shoots in a studio.

Let me know what you guys think good idea if not ever done for a new product?

As you see the design below its meant to bend (screw/unscrew) similar to how you need to rise or lower the stand but instead also allow directional movements to allow to be used as a boom as well at the same time but without buying extra accessories like a boom to add.

I can see two problems with this.

1. You'd have to bring the whole assembly down to adjust the angle, then move it back up into position, or get a stepladder or something to get up to adjust the angle of it.

2. With that cantilever effect, you'd have to either made the base much wider, which makes the whole stand more ungainly to work around, or apply some serious weight to keep it from falling over once you hang a light and modifier off the end of the arm.

Probably easier to use a couple stands and a truss between them, then affix the lighting fixtures to that, which AFAIK is pretty standard in the lighting circles.

If you want to experiment, you might check out this site for inspiration and advice. It's geared toward building things from a few standard components available at most home improvement stores.

Manfrotto and others make one with a hand crank which controls the head. You can adjust where the light is aiming via the handle.

You can, to a certain extent, get this functionality with a c-stand.
