I'm trying to edit a windowlit portrait shot with blinds down and slatted open. . .The issue here is that the lines from the blinds are showing on the model after I inspect the photo in lightroom. Why/how is this happening??? And what can I do to fix it?!?!?! Help!!!

It's happening because you are shining striped light on your subject, so the stripes show up in the final image. You can change this in camera by not shining striped light on your subject or possibly by overpowering that light with strobes. You probably can't fix it in any sane way in post-processing.
