Hi,
my first post here. I have a Panasonic FZ150, and shoot RAW and JPeg. It happens from time to time that I need to take a picture against sharp light or sun. I tried several things and so far the best is using IAuto settings, but I normally shoot P mode. Is there a way (for beginners like me) to have a better solution. Not "pro photos", but just better than dark ones ![]() I read tthat I can try Spot Metering, and small apertures... and lens hood, which I have. Any other thing I can try to experiment a bit. Will a bit of fill in flash work?

For high contrast subjects try shooting multiple exposures and combine them when post processing or use try processing your RAW files for the highlights, mid tones, shadows and combine the 3 files using masks or use HDR..
