Have you looked at Alien bees stuff? Their lights have a slave mode, so if you're using a multiple light setup then you don't need to buy other wireless triggers. The stands are reasonably priced, too, IIRC.

They are about $275+ so waaaay out of my price range atm i'm afraid

I've used these before. They don't give TTL, but if you set the flash manually, then they work well.

In the other hand, you said you already have a radio flash? Why don't you use that for the flash behind the sheet, and use your pop-up flash to trigger the ones that it can actually see?
