Default Photos - comparing q-flash with SB 900 or 580EX?

Is there a place which compares the light quality of the q-flash and Canon or Nikon flash units? I would like to see the comparison results (photos) rather than read about all the technical differences....

Quantum Q Flash. Not entirely sure of the differences, i just know they're pretty damn powerful, and are pretty much equivalent to studio strobes, but in a small, hotshoe mountable package with a parabolic reflector. Pretty nifty, really.

Sorry, OP, no info on that, but definitely interested if anyone does have any comparison shots.

Yes, they are powerful. I am just wondering whether there is any light quality difference at all.

ccting Its just a flash that is designed to be more like a studio strobe. Dont just go out and buy new flashes just to buy them. From my reserch the q flash is just a little more power however not overly more powerfull. I think its like 1/2 a stop brigter than a 580EXII. Personaly it does not have enough power to be worth it.

Buying cheep flashes might one day bite you. Have at least one high quality flash as your main flash. YN flashes don't have a great reputation of being dependable.

Ya, i know, sometimes my YN fails to work properly 30% of the time... but, I am not (will not become) a professional photographer.
