Does anyone use ProTama Diffusers

I just bought a ProTama kit which has three different colored diffusers with it. I am going to a freinds 25th wedding anniversary. I don't have any type of flash except my popup and thought these diffusers will help spread the light out. Will they and is there any settings I have to change on the camera (Nikon D5000) to get the best results or would be ok to just use Auto and go from there. The party is in a hall which we know the lighting won't be the best as it never is.lol

These diffusers work by spreading the light around the room and using the walls as a sort of giant softbox. If the room is too large, you won't get that effect and it will appear mostly the same as if you didn't use the diffuser.

To the best of my knowledge, all pop-up flashes are fully p-ttl and do not have a manual mode. So, it shouldn't matter what mode you are in (assuming you know what you are doing in manual mode, otherwise, avoid that one).

As for the different colors -- if the room is filled with orangy-tungsten light, use the warm colored one so the color of the flash matches the room. Then you can adjust the WB later and not have 2 different color casts. I don't really see the need for the cool colored one.

eh, no. Yellow is warm (like warm candle light) whereas blue is cold (like winter ice)
