Surely her left elbow is closer to the lens than the hair that's resting on her chest, though? Shallow DoF doesn't really explain that. Unless my understanding of DoF is completely wrong.

Not trying to be a chop, it's just that that blur doesn't make any sense, which is why I'm asking

Not sure… I need to go back and look at the original image. Although, I didn't do anything to the image other than basic retouching.
