Default remote trigger for d40x

Is there a remote trigger I can purchase to make an sb600 or sb800 fire wireless via a Nikon D40X? I have a cord and have found that much more helpful than shooting with it on the camera, but I'm considering the benefits of going wireless. Is it worth it?

I trip over cords. I like wireless.

Yes, there are many different ways to trip an SB-600 or SB-800 wirelessly.

The SB-800 can be set into SU-4 mode, and tripped with the D40X's pop-up flash set to manual. The SB-800 on the camera hotshoe in commander mode can remotely trip the SB-600 with CLS. You can use cheap radio slaves to trigger both flashes off-camera with a transmitter on the camera hotshoe (manual only), or you could expensive radio triggers that allow for TTL.
