Default Blue pictures

So I was at this club and took some pictures of a DJ. Of course, being in a club and me being a newbie, I had no idea how to tune my camera so all my photos came out blueish. I own a D40 and used the AF-S Nikkor 55-200 lens. My question is: is there is a way to correct these images in Photoshop and if it is how can i edit them? Oh, an my settings were: ISO 200, f: 7.1, exp time - 1/500.

I would say it's a white balance issue, although it is REALLY blue, almost like there's a filter on your lens, so I could be wrong and it may be something else. What was your white balance set at? If it wasset to tungsten that would make it have a blue tint. As far as fixing it, I'm not sure you can. You could try a color balance layer and move the blue/yellow slider towards yellow, but I doubt that'll help enough.

Looks more like there was a blue light from the club lights hitting everything.
